TIPS MENAIKKAN PAGERANK BLOG

2.    Membeli Top Level Domain (TLD).

Salah satu faktor mengapa blog cepat mendapat PageRank yakni dengan memiliki Top Level Domain seperti .com, .org, .net, .us, .web.id dll.

Contoh artikel ini seperti about blog atau about Us, privacy policy, terms of use, disclaimer, welcome to this blog, keyword to this site, dan deskripsi lainnya tentang blog Anda itu sendiri.

8.    Gunakan Teknik Internal Link.

cara menaikkan pagerank blog

11.    Artikel SEO Blog.

13.    Pasang Widget Penting Blog.

Salam Blogger !!

CARA MENDAPATKAN PAGERANK GOOGLE

Cara Membuat Blogroll Model Scrollbar
Membuat Daftar Isi Sesuai Label Otomatis Yang Kita Tentukan Sendiri
Cara Submit Sitemap ke Google Webmaster Tools
Cara Mendapatkan Backlink dari Google - Google Backlink Tips
Web Direktori Indonesia - Free Web Directory
Add A Reply Option To Blogger Blogspot Comments
Optimasi Judul Blogspot - Membuat Judul Blog SEO Friendly
Auto Highlight Author Comments In Blogger Blogspot Posts
Cara Membuat Breadcrumb - Pasang Breadcrumb Navigation Blogspot

Oke dah saya ucapkan Happy Blogging :)

Arab tweeps should stop gloating over Sandy disaster: Saudi Grand Mufti

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, home to Islam’s holliest sites, has condemned the gloating by radical “tweeps” in the Arab world over the Sandy storm disaster, which left more than 100 people dead in the U.S. East Coast, as “illegitimate”

Sheikh Abdel Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh told al-Hayat newspaper that gloating over "these people who were hit by storm Sandy is inappropriate,” adding that such behavior is “illegitimate” and “must be abandoned.”
Saudi Arabia’s prominent Islamic preacher Salman al-Oudah also urged Twitter users to refrain from gloating over Sandy victims, recalling the Prophet Mohammed’s message of peace to mankind.

Commenting on the super-storm disaster, one person who identifies himself as a professor of religion tweeted: “We ask God to destroy them all, and not keep one of them,” because the United States “supports war and abuse towards Muslims.”

In Egypt, controversial Islamic preacher Wagdy Ghoneim described storm Sandy as one of “God’s soldiers” sent to punish the United States for its actions against Muslims.

Other Twitter users compared Sandy to the sand storm, which according Islam was sent by God to the “People of Aad” to punish them for refusing to believe in him.

But Mustafa al-Nagar, Former Egyptian parliament member who was in the United States at the time of the storm, wrote on his Twitter account: “I pray for people here in America with mercy. What’s happening here is a catastrophe and a tragedy! Do not gloat over innocent victims, this is inhumane.”

Palestinian poet Mourid Barghouti also criticized gloaters over Sandy. He tweeted: “Who told you that children, students, women and men in America wish you [Muslims] death? Politicians like Mubarak and Bush are one thing, and humanity is something else.”

In the same vein, Engy Hamdi, political activist and member of Egypt’s April 6 Movement, wrote on her Twitter account, “Did Islam teach us to gloat amid the misfortunes of people?"

IN HURRICANE, TWITTER PROVES A LIFELINE DESPITE PRANKSTERS

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - As Hurricane Sandy pounded the U.S. Atlantic coast on Monday night, knocking out electricity and Internet connections, millions of residents turned to Twitter as a part-newswire, part-911 hotline that hummed through the night even as some websites failed and swathes of Manhattan fell dark.
But the social network also became a fertile ground for pranksters who seized the moment to disseminate rumours and Photoshopped images, including a false tweet Monday night that the trading floor at the New York Stock Exchange was submerged under several feet of water.
The exchange issued a denial, but not before the tweet was circulated by countless users and reported on-air by CNN, illustrating how Twitter had become the essential - but deeply fallible - spine of information coursing through real-time, major media events.
But a year after Twitter gained attention for its role in the rescue efforts in tsunami-stricken Japan, the network seemed to solidify its mainstream foothold as government agencies, news outlets and residents in need turned to it at the most critical hour.
Beginning late Sunday, government agencies and officials, from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo(@NYGovCuomo) to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (@FEMA) to @NotifyNYC, an account handled by New York City's emergency management officials, issued evacuation orders and updates.
As the storm battered New York Monday night, residents encountering clogged 9-1-1 dispatch lines flooded the Fire Department's @fdny Twitter account with appeals for information and help for trapped relatives and friends.
One elderly resident needed rescue in a building in Manhattan Beach. Another user sent @fdny an Instagram photo of four insulin shots that she needed refrigerated immediately. Yet another sought a portable generator for a friend on a ventilator living downtown.
Emily Rahimi, who manages the @fdny account by herself, according to a department spokesman, coolly fielded dozens of requests, while answering questions about whether to call 311, New York's non-emergency help line, or Consolidated Edison.
At the Red Cross of America's Washington D.C. headquarters, in a small room called the Digital Operations Center, six wall-mounted monitors display a stream of updates from Twitter and Facebook and a visual "heat map" of where posts seeking help are coming from.
The heat map informed how the Red Cross's aid workers deployed their resources, said Wendy Harman, the Red Cross director of social strategy.
The Red Cross was also using Radian6, a social media monitoring tool sold by Salesforce.com, to spot people seeking help and answer their questions.
"We found out we can carry out the mission of the Red Cross from the social Web," said Harman, who hosted a brief visit from President Barack Obama on Tuesday.
SPREADING INFORMATION
Twitter, which in the past year has heavily ramped up its advertising offerings and features to suit large brand marketers like Pepsico Inc and Procter & Gamble, suddenly found itself offering its tools to new kind of client on Monday: public agencies that wanted help spreading information.
For the first time, the company created a "#Sandy" event page - a format once reserved for large ad-friendly media events like the Olympics or Nascar races - that served as a hub where visitors could see aggregated information. The page displayed manually- and algorithmically-selected tweets plucked from official accounts like those of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey, who was particularly active on the network.
Agencies like the Maryland Emergency Management Agency and the New York Mayor's Office also used Twitter's promoted tweets - an ad product used by advertisers to reach a broader consumer base - to get out the word.
The company said offering such services for free to government agencies was one of several initiatives, including a service that broadcasts location-specific alerts and public announcements based on a Twitter user's postal code.
"We learned from the storm and tsunami in Japan that Twitter can often be a lifeline," said Rachael Horwitz, a Twitter spokeswoman.
Jeannette Sutton, a sociologist at the University of Colorado who has received funding from the National Science Foundation and the Department of Homeland Security to study social media uses in disaster management, said government agencies have been sceptical until recently about using social media during natural disasters.
"There's a big problem with whether it's valid, accurate information out there," Sutton said. "But if you're not part of the conversation, you're going to be missing out."
As the hurricane hit one of the most wired regions in the country, news outlets also took advantage of the smartphone users who chronicled rising tides on every flooded block. On Instagram, the photo-sharing website, witnesses shared colour-filtered snapshots of floating cars, submerged gas stations and a building shorn of its facade at a rate of more than 10 pictures per second, Instagram founder Kevin Systrom told Poynter.org on Tuesday.
Many of the images were republished in the live coverage by news websites and aired on television broadcasts.
LIES SLAPPED DOWN
But by late Monday, fake images began to circulate widely, including a picture of a storm cloud gathering dramatically over the Statue of Liberty and a photoshopped job of a shark lurking in a submerged residential neighbourhood. The latter image even surfaced on social networks in China.
Then there was the slew of fabricated message from @comfortablysmug, the Twitter account that claimed the NYSE was underwater. The account is owned by Shashank Tripathi, the hedge fund investor and campaign manager for Christopher Wight, the Republican candidate to represent New York's 12th District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Tripathi, who did not return emails by Reuters seeking comment, apologized Tuesday night for making a "series of irresponsible and inaccurate tweets" and resigned from Wight's campaign.
His identity was first reported by Jack Stuef of BuzzFeed.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Tripathi began deleting many of his Hurricane Sandy tweets. Tripathi's friend, @theAshok, defended Tripathi, telling Reuters on Twitter: "People shouldn't be taking "news" from an anonymous twitter account seriously."
Tripathi's @comfortablysmug's Twitter stream, which is followed by business journalists, bloggers and various New York personalities, had been a well-known voice in digital circles, but mostly for his 140-character-or-less criticisms of the Obama administration, often accompanied by the hashtag, #ObamaIsn'tWorking.
On Tuesday, New York City Councilman Peter F. Vallone Jr. appeared to threaten Tripathi with prosecution when he tweeted that he hoped Tripathi was "less smug and comfortable cuz I'm talking to Cy," presumably referring to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.
For its part, Twitter said that it would not have considered suspending the account unless it received a request from a law enforcement agency.
"We don't moderate content, and we certainly don't want to be in a position of deciding what speech is OK and what speech is not," said Horwitz, Twitter's spokeswoman.
But Ben Smith, the editor at Buzzfeed, which outed Tripathi, said Twitter's credibility would not be affected by rumourmongers because netizens often self-correct and identify falsehoods.
"They used to say a lie will travel halfway around the world before the truth puts its shoes on, but in the Twitter world, that's not true anymore," Smith said. "The lies get slapped down really fast."
For Smith, the ability to disseminate information via Twitter and Facebook on Monday night became perhaps even more important than his Web publication, which enjoyed one of its better nights in readership but went dark when the blackout crippled the site's servers in downtown Manhattan.
Buzzfeed's staff quickly began publishing on Tumblr instead, and Smith personally took over Buzzfeed's Twitter account to stay in the thick of the conversation.
"Our view of the world is that social distribution is the key thing," Smith said. "We're in the business of creating content that people want to share, more than the business of maintaining a website."

On Twitter, Sifting Through Falsehoods in Critical Times

During Hurricane Sandy’s peak, Twitter wasabuzz with activity, as tens of thousands of people turned to the microblogging service for alerts, updates and real-time reports and photographs of the storm.
A startling but manufactured image of the giant storm that made the rounds on Twitter and Facebook.
Multimedia
Trouble is, not all of it was true.
Deliberate falsehoods, including images showing theStatue of Liberty engulfed in ominous clouds and sharks swimming through waterlogged suburban neighborhoods quickly spread through the service, as did word that power would be shut off for the entire city of New York and that the floor of the New York Stock Exchange had been flooded.
Twitter says it cannot possibly regulate the millions of messages on its service, and that a bit of misinformation and mischief is to be expected. But in recent years, the service has become an indispensable funnel of information in critical times for many people, especially for those who lose access to power or cable TV. For them, it can be a crucial lifeline.
Twitter has also become an invaluable tool for local government, news and relief organizations, which can monitor updates and dispatches from smartphone-wielding citizens.
“The limits of Twitter come into play during a situation like a hurricane,” said John Palfrey, co-author of “Born Digital,” an examination of Internet technology’s impact on society. “There’s great power in it, but also great power for deception.”
While people are learning to accept information posted to the social Web with a large grain of salt, they may not be able to distinguish between useful updates and fake ones during a crisis or disaster, which can become dangerous. Bad information might set off an irrational decision that could lead to panic, or worse, put them in harm’s way.
A search is on for promising technological solutions, but for the time being, it is up to users to police the service.
“Generally speaking, we don’t mediate or moderate and monitor the site and content on the site in an event, whether the debates or a natural disaster,” Rachael Horwitz, a Twitter spokeswoman, said in an interview. “Fact-checking Twitter is not scalable and not something we want to get involved with.”
Twitter does take steps to validate some of the information coursing through its service. It verifies the accounts of some prominent people by placing blue checkmarks next to those users’ names. It also suggests lists of reliable Twitter accounts and users to follow during big events, be they government officials or news reporters.
Ms. Horwitz compared Twitter to a self-cleaning oven, saying the company was pleased with how quickly vigilant at-home fact-checkers were able to establish which photographs and reports were not true.
Jack Steuf, a writer at BuzzFeed, exposed a Twitter user going by the moniker “ComfortablySmug,” who was deliberately spreading rumors and false reports late Monday night — one said the Coney Island Hospital was on fire — as the frenzy online was reaching its peak. Many of the rumors were unwittingly repeated and spread by others. (Twitter said it had no plans to suspend the account.)
A Web site, IsTwitterWrong, run by Tom Phillips, an international editor at MSN, collected and analyzed popular images floating around during the hurricane and tried to determine which were real and which were not.
Twitter should not be expected to moderate all messages on its site, Mr. Palfrey said, especially during a fast-paced, critical situation like a tremendous storm.
Twitter said it did not yet have official figures for the volume of messages during the height of the storm. Topsy, a third-party service that analyzes Twitter activity clustered around a specific topic, showedas many as 550,000 posts related to the storm.
Mr. Palfrey suggested that during a major event, Twitter could pick out certain posts containing valuable nuggets of information and promote them on its site and mobile application.
Relying on users to police the streams of information could be an effective solution, said Jonathan Zittrain, a professor of Internet law at Harvard.
“Don’t forget that the whole idea of a retweet was invented by users before Twitter was blessed with that functionality,” he said. “The digital realm could resolve this and not break the law of physics by doing so.”
He suggested an annotation, like “xTweet,” to signal something as false, or even a bit of metadata that would flag a message as inaccurate, even after a posting is passed around by others.
“We could harness the viral power of Twitter to keep up with its breathless self,” he said.

ShadowMe iOS App Lets You Shadow Twitter Users, Benefit from Cultivated Follow Lists

Tendy Apps, LLC today announced the launch of free iOS app ShadowMe for Twitter. ShadowMe is a discovery tool that lets users “shadow” a Twitter user to see exactly what that person sees in their personal Twitter feed, taking advantage of the Twitter follow lists already cultivated – whether he/she is a friend, family member, colleague, celebrity, athlete, newsmaker, politician, activist or influencer. With ShadowMe, you are one click away from seeing a user's Tweets and the Tweets from everyone they follow all in one consolidated feed. ShadowMe introduces you to an entire Twitterverse, connecting and discovering faster than ever before.
ShadowMe provides an unparalleled second-screen experience. By enhancing television viewing and live events, the app offers a new dimension in social networking. Simply shadow the star, athlete, host or celebrity to experience the event through that person’s unique perspective. For example, ShadowMe users get an inside look at savvy Twitter users’ social media experience when they shadow popular political analysts on Election Day, or professional athletes and sports reporters/commentators during sporting events.
ShadowMe creates a more meaningful Twitter experience. The app is especially useful for the approximate 56 million nascent or inactive Twitter users who have not yet developed vibrant follow lists and want to easily discover interesting Twitter handles or circumvent the time-intensive work of researching and following each individual on their shadow target’s list.
According to a 2011 report by Cornell University and Yahoo! Research, less than one percent of Twitter users produce half its content. ShadowMe gives any user the ability to experience Twitter the way a power user does, introducing those tips and tricks, features and benefits of Twitter that power users have tapped but may not be apparent to a newbie. An estimated 40 percent of all Twitter accounts are deemed “listening accounts” – users who do not regularly tweet – and 25 percent of Twitter users have never tweeted. Many of these users, however, still actively use Twitter to get news, information and opinions.
“On Twitter, there are a certain number of dedicated users who put in the time and effort to find interesting people to follow but as Twitter continues to grow, there are more quiet users than ever,” said Keith Savitz, co-founder of Tendy Apps. “While ShadowMe is especially useful for people who need an introduction or education on Twitter, the app also enhances the Twitter experience for even the most active users by enabling them to shadow avid Twitter users, depending on interests or events. Twitter newbies get quality content, not overwhelming quantity and all users get the engaging, informative, entertaining social TV/second screen experience.”
ShadowMe investors include Jesse Itzler, principal of 100 Mile Group, co-founder of Marquis Jet and an investor in Zico Coconut Water.
ShadowMe can be downloaded for free in the iTunes App Store athttps://itunes.apple.com/lk/app/shadowme-for-twitter/id531411119?mt=8.

Predicting what topics will trend on Twitter

Twitter's home page features a regularly updated list of topics that are "trending," meaning that tweets about them have suddenly exploded in volume. A position on the list is highly coveted as a source of free publicity, but the selection of topics is automatic, based on a proprietary algorithm that factors in both the number of tweets and recent increases in that number. At the Interdisciplinary Workshop on Information and Decision in Social Networks at MIT in November, Associate Professor Devavrat Shah and his student, Stanislav Nikolov, will present a new algorithm that can, with 95 percent accuracy, predict which topics will trend an average of an hour and a half before Twitter's algorithm puts them on the list—and sometimes as much as four or five hours before.

The algorithm could be of great interest to Twitter, which could charge a premium for ads linked to popular topics, but it also represents a new approach to statistical analysis that could, in theory, apply to any quantity that varies over time: the duration of a bus ride, ticket sales for films, maybe even stock prices. Like all machine-learning algorithms, Shah and Nikolov's needs to be "trained": it combs through data in a sample set—in this case, data about topics that previously did and did not trend—and tries to find meaningful patterns. What distinguishes it is that it's nonparametric, meaning that it makes no assumptions about the shape of patterns. Let the data decide In the standard approach to machine learning, Shah explains, researchers would posit a "model"—a general hypothesis about the shape of the pattern whose specifics need to be inferred. "You'd say, 'Series of trending things … remain small for some time and then there is a step,'" says Shah, the Jamieson Career Development Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

"This is a very simplistic model. Now, based on the data, you try to train for when the jump happens, and how much of a jump happens. "The problem with this is, I don't know that things that trend have a step function," Shah explains. "There are a thousand things that could happen." So instead, he says, he and Nikolov "just let the data decide." In particular, their algorithm compares changes over time in the number of tweets about each new topic to the changes over time of every sample in the training set. Samples whose statistics resemble those of the new topic are given more weight in predicting whether the new topic will trend or not. In effect, Shah explains, each sample "votes" on whether the new topic will trend, but some samples' votes count more than others'. The weighted votes are then combined, giving a probabilistic estimate of the likelihood that the new topic will trend. In Shah and Nikolov's experiments, the training set consisted of data on 200 Twitter topics that did trend and 200 that didn't. In real time, they set their algorithm loose on live tweets, predicting trending with 95 percent accuracy and a 4 percent false-positive rate. Shah predicts, however, that the system's accuracy will improve as the size of the training set increases.

"The training sets are very small," he says, "but we still get strong results." Keeping pace Of course, the larger the training set, the greater the computational cost of executing Shah and Nikolov's algorithm. Indeed, Shah says, curbing computational complexity is the reason that machine-learning algorithms typically employ parametric models in the first place. "Our computation scales proportionately with the data," Shah says. But on the Web, he adds, computational resources scale with the data, too: As Facebook or Google add customers, they also add servers. So his and Nikolov's algorithm is designed so that its execution can be split up among separate machines. "It is perfectly suited to the modern computational framework," Shah says.

In principle, Shah says, the new algorithm could be applied to any sequence of measurements performed at regular intervals. But the correlation between historical data and future events may not always be as clear cut as in the case of Twitter posts. Filtering out all the noise in the historical data might require such enormous training sets that the problem becomes computationally intractable even for a massively distributed program. But if the right subset of training data can be identified, Shah says, "It will work." "People go to social-media sites to find out what's happening now," says Ashish Goel, an associate professor of management science at Stanford University and a member of Twitter's technical advisory board. "So in that sense, speeding up the process is something that is very useful." Of the MIT researchers' nonparametric approach, Goel says, "it's very creative to use the data itself to find out what trends look like. It's quite creative and quite timely and hopefully quite useful."
