THE WOSCARS

Last night I attended The WOSCARS, an awards ceremony aimed to highlight and celebrate the hard work of media and film students at Woking College in Woking.

The WOSCARS began  three years ago and the standard of the event and quality of work have risen each year. This black tie event was definitely the place to be last night! The hosts Jack Reynolds and Sam Johnson did a fabulous job to such an extent that Ant and Dec need to be scared, brilliant future duo presenters if they choose to take that path!

I was truly honoured to present awards to students alongside successful actor Nonso Anozie, who definitely added a touch of Hollywood to the event! His past works include Atonement, I am Slave (BAFTA 2011 Nominee) and Conan the Barbarian due for UK release in August 2011, so look out for it!

Me being me I couldn’t just read the card, I had to throw in a few "jokes". Thank you to everyone who laughed, my head told my mouth not to do it, clearly my mouth had other ideas :-)

Once again thank you all for a fantastic evening. Good luck to all the talented students and Hi 5 to the teachers that clearly work hard to embrace, nurture and push talent!
