Cara Bermain Texas Holdem Poker di Facebook

Bagi anda yang ingin sekali bermain Poker di Facebook tetapi tidak mengetahui cara bermainnya, ada baiknya anda mencari tahu terlebih dahulu sebelum KO di dunia Texas Holdem Poker. Ada beberapa hal yang anda harus perhatikan yaitu :

1. Anda akan memegang 2 kartu dan sementara Bandar membagikan 5 kartu. Cocokkan 2 kartu yang anda pengang dengan 5 kartu yang sudah dibagikan oleh Bandar. 2 kartu yang anda pegang akan digabungkan dengan 3 kartu, lebih baik Bandar yang membagikannya sehingga anda nanti akan memiliki 5 kartu.

2. Urutan dari kartu terkecil dan terbesar adalah 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K,As. Dan setiap angka/huruf berbeda-beda nilainya tergantung dari jenis kartunya. Urutan jenis kartu/bunga dari terkecil ke terbesar adalah

· Diamond/Wajik (merah) —–> paling rendah

· Keriting (hitam)

· Love/ Hati (merah)

· Spade/ Sekop (hitam)——> paling tinggi/bagus

Contoh : kartu As Spade menang lawan As Love/Keriting/Diamond

3. Ada beberapa istilah dalam permainan kartu Texas Holdem Poker dari urutan terkecil ke terbesar :

· One Pair (ada 1 pasang kartu yg sama/ kembar, ex. 8 dan 8 atau As dan As)

· Two Pair (ada 2 pasang kartu yg sama ex. 8-8 dan 6-6)

· Tris atau Three Off a Kind (ada 3 kartu yg sama ex. 8-8-8)

· Straight (5 kartu berurutan ex. 3-4-5-6-7 atau 10-J-Q-K-As)

· Flush (5 kartu bunganya sama ex. hati semua/keriting semua)

· Full House (kombinasi Tris dan One Pair. ex. 8-8-8-6-6)

· Four of a Kind (ada 4 kartu yg sama ex. 8-8-8-8)

· Straight Flush (kombinasi Straight dan Flash ex. 3-4-5-6-7 tapi semuanya hati/keriting)

· Royal Flush (10,J,Q,K,As bunganya sama. Nilai paling tinggi di poker adalah Royal Flush Sekop)

4. Istilah permainannya :

· Fold - Batal ikut (bila kartu anda jelek untuk itu sebaiknya anda memilih ini)

· Check - Hanya mengecek dan tidak menambah taruhan, tapi ini hanya bisa dilakukan kalau yang lain tidak menambah taruhan (Kalau anda masih ragu sebaiknya anda memilih ini)

· Call - Ikut (Kalau kartu anda berpeluang jadi sebaiknya anda memilih ini)

· Raise - Menambah taruhannya (bila kartu anda besar peluangya/sudah jadi sebaiknya anda memilih ini)

Hanya itu saja yang penting dala permainan Poker, jadi untuk bermain sekali lagi perhatikan besar kecil urutan kartu, jenis kartu/bunga dan istilah permainan kartunya jangan sampai salah. Selamat mencoba menjadi Gambler Las Vegas.

This week, the Etsy Twitter team is proud to introduce you to Birgitte Hendricks, the artist behind SewDanish. Birgitte, who currently lives in Suffolk, England, is originally from Denmark. She makes an amazing variety of affordable woven and fiber art: beautiful baskets woven from an array of inventive materials, petite sewn origami pillow key rings, fabric covered boxes...and more! If you are looking for high quality, handmade textile or paper based items, SewDanish is a must-see. Most of Birgitte's items are one of a kind or made in very limited editions.

Birgitte is an exhibiting, Danish textile artist. While her shop currently has many exciting unique pieces, she plans to add a new level of merchandise: "I will...start listing fiber art/textile art pieces that have been exhibited around England. I make the majority of my own supplies.... My handmade supply section is the latest addition to my shop as I wanted to share my ‘surplus’ with you."

She has been known to teach some classes, too. We're hoping she'll be able to publish some eBook lessons for those of us who can't pop over to Suffolk.

Birgitte is definitely influenced by her heritage. She says "As a native Dane my fiber art is very much under influence of the Danish minimalistic approach to design and use of color. I tend to gravitate towards the lighter color scheme and use color quite sparingly. In my work I use a lot of recycled paper and fabric, as it is important for me to do my bit for the environment, and I love the unique broken in/worn feeling a one can achieve. Using recycled repurposed items is a wonderful challenge on its own."

As with many Etsy Twitter teammates, Birgitte has been influenced and supported in her artistic talents by her family: "The two most influential persons that at a very young age got me interested in crafting were my mother and my grandmother. My mother taught me to knit and crochet when I was 6 years old. My grandmother introduced me embroidery and dress making. I’m so grateful that they kept encouraging me, recognizing my huge interest in crafting and creating."

Later, fate stepped in and opened up more avenues of creativity: "After moving to England I was so fortunate to do 5 years of craft training in patchwork and quilting, art and design, free style machine embroidery and creative hand embroidery. A huge amount of assessments, but pure bliss! Loved every minute of it."

Birgitte feels that Twitter is a great tool for both networking and showcasing her art: "Tweet a mixture of ‘talk’ and links. Join teams (outside) twitter and then use twitter for networking with team members. Reply and re-tweet getting to know other tweeps. Have fun!"

Another (and surprising) side to Birgitte is medical--she is a trained RGN (Registered General Nurse)! For many years, she has worked in operating rooms performing mainly open heart surgery from North of the Arctic Circle in Norway all the way to the Middle Eastern desert! In fact, if she had $1 million to give away, it would go to the medical field: to cancer research. "Both my parents passed away way too young due to cancer. The more research into prevention and treatments the better."

Colour-blindness is not the way forward

“Should adoption be colour-blind?” This was the question on The Big Questions this morning. It was an insightful though one-sided debate riddled in serious self-defence and closed ears. Two black people had encountered two very different experiences being raised by white adoptive parents. Both came from loving households but the impact on their identity had different outcomes. Precious Williams explained how her adoptive parents saw no differences and treated her as their own. She felt inclusive though felt totally disconnected to her ‘race’ and culture to the extent that when she saw black people, the mirror image of herself, she would hide.

Ben Douglas on the other hand had a good experience to the extent that he was unable to put himself in Precious’ shoes. He totally disregarded her experience and I felt it for her. He came across strong and unaffected though to me he seemed lost and unaware of the deeper levels Derek was trying to explain.  Each individual will have different experiences and each experience and therefore expression is valid. However Nicky Campbell  and the audience seemed only able to side with Ben, which was an almost utopian rose tinted view. Why?

‘Race’ is hard to look at; it always has been and always will be. The truth however is that racism, discrimination and prejudices exist within the society we live in, further evidenced in the fact that we have equality laws and policies, therefore the door on this discussion cannot be closed when talking about adoption as the problems within society will naturally reside here also.

Yes, every child in care should be housed within a loving family, no one is denying this is of a high importance but so is the acknowledgement of difference. These acknowledgements should not be seen in separation. The complexity of ‘race’ is vast and heavily influenced by colonialism, entangled in false beliefs, projections, introjections, anxiety, fear, guilt and shame. The term colour-blind I feel serves as avoidance and a defence mechanism to mask looking at the full complexity of the issue. The issue of ‘Race’ stems way beyond racism, there are many aspects to look at which never get the attention it deserves and so’ race’ always stops at digestible perimeters.

There have been many published materials specifically on white/black relations, where awareness of difference and diversity, racism and socio-political history and the importance of racial consciousness have been highlighted, however this knowledge never seems to transcend to other areas. There is value in findings which are taken, not only from the voices of those who have been in these situations but also the knowledge of the part history has to play and the affects on a psychology level on individuals. There are numerous documents in psychology that support my strong feelings why the colour-blind approach has no place in adoption which the government would be well advised to look at in order to put holding and ethical systems in place.

Anyone should be allowed to adopt, however this change in the system should not be based on a colour-blind approach. Avoidance and lack of importance is the place that the colour-blind term resides in. This is a place of unawareness and potential harm. Within difference there are differences, which need to addressed from   skin and hair type to culture and beyond. Colour or 'race' consciousness is the awareness and embrace of differences, diversity and acceptance of these differences. This is where everyone should be working from.  Identity matters whether you discuss it or not, so let’s start discussing it without the rose tinted glasses.

Recent developments in the analysis of DNA, confirms that the concept of ‘race’ is a constructed one, with no objective basis in biology. This concept as well as the notions of ‘Black’ and ‘White’ was imposed by the colonial powers. Rustin (1991) said, “It is both an empty category and one of the most powerful forms of social categorization” (Rustin, p.57). I have refered to ‘race’ in apostrophes to acknowledge the emptiness of this prescribed category.

SOTW -- Faerytalewings

Our shop of the week features a match made in Heaven: Lydia and Curtis Kinsey! Lydia is the artist who keeps a shop full of colorful designs to delight young and old alike and also some thoughtfully lovely pen-and-ink sketches. Curtis does some art, but is mainly the background support structure who handles the business end (and also can take a lot of the credit for our ETT website!)

Lydia's designs are very recognizeable. She often uses a softer palette and doesn't draw in an over-complicated manner. From her haunting Undine to her I-can-almost-smell-it Hot Chocolate Cocoa and Marshmallows, her body of work offers something for virtually everyone. Got an idea that you'd love? Just ask! Lydia is open to personalizing a work for you!

"Because we live in Florida," Lydia says "the landscape and weather influences the painting. Take for example Ripe Lemon Yellow Seascape"--it is basically a Gulf Coast sunset!

Lydia has had several inspirational events and people in her life. She was fortunate to travel to Italy at the impressionable age of 14. She was further inspired by Elaine Dubin, her painting instructor for several years. Sticking to her own style, she also admires artist Frank Frazetta for his bold colors and sculptural men and women. Says Lydia, "No little stick ladies!"

Feeling strongly about art, Lydia would put her money to good use if she had $1 million and had to give away every penny. She would donate it to "small school arts programs, because politicians will never, ever, ever understand the importance or need for art in the curriculum."

The following piece by Lydia is an ACEO: "Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards" as defined by wikipedia.

Twitter Advice from the Etsy Twitter Team

You read a lot about using Twitter to bring traffic to your shop, but HOW do you do it successfully? It's not as easy as it sounds, but here is some advice from some veteran Etsy Twitter Team members that may make Twitter a more effective tool for you:

Thea of Fibrous offers three pieces of advice to those new to Twitter:

1. Fill in your profile. Mention your hobbies and your interests. Many people, including me, don't automatically follow back, so the profile is something I look at to determine if I want to follow you.

2. Do at least 10 tweets before you start following tons of people. How will people know that you're an interesting and helpful person and that they'd like to follow you and listen to what you have to say if you haven't actually tweeted anything yet?

3. Don't just talk about yourself. Retweet (RT) what others are saying, and start chatting with others!

1 Spread your marketing tweets out during the day to reach people who are not on Twitter 24/7 (there are a few!).

And most importantly,
3. Intersperse your marketing tweets with personal ones, retweets and replies.

Website/Blog Tetap Terindeks Walaupun Jarang Posting Artikel Baru

Apakah website/blog anda sepi akan pengunjung? Tidak usah panik ada tips yang perlu anda ketahui. Mungkin penyebabnya karena :

1. Artikel blog anda kurang diminati oleh pengunjung

2. Anda belum submit alamat URL anda ke mesin pencari seperti Google, Yahoo, Bing, dll

3. Anda belum mempromosikan blog anda ke teman atau pengunjung lain

4. Dan masih banyak lagi

Namun untuk itu sudah ada solusinya, saya sudah mencoba semuanya dan hasilnya lumayan nih. Ikuti tips berikut :

1. Buat artikel yang menarik, ini sebagai “Artikel Pilar” yaitu artikel yang sering dicari atau dilihat di dalam website/blog anda, ini berfungsi apabila anda tidak sering posting artikel baru di blog maka artikel pilarlah yang membuat blog anda tetap terindeks oleh mesin pencari seperti Google, Yahoo, Bing, dll. Jadi anda tidak perlu harus posting setiap hari agar blog terindeks oleh mesin pencari. (artikel yang sering dicari orang lain dan tidak pernah ada habisnya untuk dicari)

2. Submit URL blog anda ke mesin pencari. Anda bisa lihat di FreeSubMission, ada beberapa mesin pencari dengan daftar PR dan Alexa tertentu dan ada juga yang versi berbayar. (bila tidak mau pilih yang versi gratis)

3. Buat akun di beberapa website yang menyediakan berbagai macam aplikasi untuk mendapatkan traffic secara statis. Maksudnya adalah anda akan mendapatkan pengunjung tetapi bukan pengunjung yang secara normalnya ingin melihat artikel blog anda, mereka hanya numpang lewat istilahnya. Berikut daftarnya :

· Twiends – cara ini yang sering saya gunakan, anda bisa memilih 1 atau 4 pilihan sekaligus dari yang disediakan yaitu mendapatkan Followers di Twiter, Like di Page Facebook anda, pengunjung di Website/Blog, Viewers pada akun YouTube.

· MyBlogLog – disini anda harus punya akun Yahoo karena ini adalah salah satu layanan dari Yahoo. Ini hamper mirip seperti Facebook, Twitter, dll tetapi fungsi utamanya untuk mempromosikan website/blog anda. Anda harus Add orang lain sebanyak-banyaknya dan promosikan URL Website/blog anda.

· Adfly – ini adalah sebuah layanan berbayar dimana $ 0,5 anda akan mendapatkan 1000 pengunjung dari Indonesia dan $ 5 anda akan mendapatkan 1000 pengunjung dari amerika. Namun anda harus memiliki akun PayPal untuk pembayarannya.

4. Blog Walking ke website/blog lain, anda cukup memberikan komentar dan jangan lupa berikan alamat URL website/blog anda dan deskripsi tentangnya.

5. Iklankan blog Anda di situs-situs penyedia layanan iklan gratis di internet, seperti: http://www.biroiklan.net, http://www.admatters.com, http://www.bursaiklan.com, http://www.iklanbaris.co.id, dll.

6. Ikut dalam forum-forum yang membahas tentang dunia Blogging atau yang bersangkutan. Jangan lupa promosikan artikel anda disana.

7. Gunakanlah social network seperti Facebook atau Twitter untuk mempromosikan artikel anda. Setiap anda mem-posting artikel baru jangan lupa share artikel tersebut disana.

8. Buat stiker tentang blog anda, bisa alamat URL atau beserta logo blog anda. Atau anda bisa membuat wallpaper tentang blog anda beserta alamat URLnya lalu mampir ke warnet-warnet teman atau yang lain untuk meminta tolong memasang wallpaper tersebut sebagai desktop background di computer. Cara ini akan mempermudah pengguna internet melihat blog anda.

9. Cantumkan URL blog anda setiap kali anda kirim SMS, Email, atau yang lain kepada teman anda.

Nah itulah berbagai cara agar blog kita tetap terindeks walaupun jarang melakukan posting baru. Semoga artikel ini bermanfaat untuk teman-teman blogger . .

Perbaiki Laptop/Komputer Windows Tidak Bisa Shutdown

Awalnya saya memakai OS windows XP sp2, namun ada kejanggalan yaitu laptop saya tidak bisa shutdown. Dulu saya berpikir mungkin harus menunggu namun setelah 1 jam ternyata tetap saja tidak bisa. Akhirnya saya install ulang menggunakan windows XP sp3 dan hasilnya laptop saya pun mau untuk shutdown. Bila anda pernah mengalami hal ini, mungkin tips berikut akan sangat membantu anda.

1. Pada kolom Search, ketik Regedit

2. Arahkan ke alamat berikut :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

3. Ubah value dari PowerDownAfterShutdown menjadi 1.

4. Jika value itu tidak ada, tambahkan dengan membuat string value PowerDownAfterShutdown dan seting valuenya menjadi 1

Catatan: Jika cara diatas tidak berhasil untuk kasus yang anda hadapi, mungkin itu adalah masalah dengan shutdown yang lainnya, anda bisa mencoba cara-cara lainnya disini.

Mempercepat Waktu Shutdown

1. Buka Regedit dan arahkan ke ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\’

2. Pilih value ‘WaitToKillAppTimeout’.

3. Ubah menjadi ‘5000'.

4. Sekarang pilih value ‘HungAppTimeout’

5. Ubah juga menjadi ‘5000'.

Seting diatas hanya untuk user yang sedang digunakan sekarang, untuk semua user dapat menggunakan ini:

1. Buka Regedit dan arahkan ke ‘HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop’

2. Pilih value ‘WaitToKillAppTimeout’.

3. Ubah menjadi ‘5000'.

4. Sekarang pilih value ‘HungAppTimeout’.

5. Ubah juga menjadi ‘5000'.

Catatan: '5000', value ini dalam miliseconds. Restart komputer agar hasilnya nanti bisa dirasakan

Mengetahui Follower yang Unfollow Anda via Email

Assalamu’alaikum wr. wb.

Untuk trik  Twitter kali ini, blog Horier akan membahas cara Mengetahui Follower yang Unfollow Anda via Email. Secara default, Twittermengirimkan email notifikasi ketika ada akun yang mem-follow akun kalian. Namun, ketika Mengetahui Follower yang Unfollow, kalian tidak akan diberi notifikasi oleh Twitter. Layanan yang disediakan Useqwitter.com mirip dengan subscribe email biasa. Hanya saja, layanan tersebut bertugas mengecek follower anda kemudian melaporkannya kepada kalian melalui email.

Cara Mengetahui Follower yang Unfollow Anda via Email :

1. Buka halaman Use Qwitter. Pada halaman utama tersebut, isikan akun Twitter kalian berserta email tempat notifikasi terkirim lalu klik tombol Join Qwitter.
2. Website akan menampilkan perbandingan versi premium dan gratisan. Klik No untuk melanjutkan pendaftaran akun gratis.

3.     Sebuah notifikasi yang berisi pernyataan bahwa anda harus melakukan konfirmasi melalui email anda ditampilkan di website.

4.     Cek email anda dan klik pada link yang diberikan oleh Qwitter. Untuk menghentikan pengiriman notifikasi, klik unsubscribe dibawah bagian email notifikasi Qwitter.
