Reign by Amma Gyan

I am ecstatic for my very talented friend Amma Gyan who has designed an exclusive jewellery collection for Jigsaw's Spring Summer 2012 collection.  Amma has been designing and making beautiful products for as long as I can remember and this is her first big project. 

Her unique leather moulded jewellery was spotted at the Hatton Garden festival during London Jewellery Week by a Jigsaw buyer who was "drawn to her use of experimental finishes and techniques". Please visit her blog for the full  account of how this all happened. 


Amma's style has also been recognised by the Museum of Leather Craft, who commissioned a piece for their permanent exhibition and by the  Craft and Design Selected Awards where she won a Specialist Media Award in 2011.

Speaking about this exclusive collection Amma said

"Influenced by my love of colour and driven by emotion, I bring you Reign. Each item of jewellery is individually made by hand in the UK using a combination of traditional and contemporary materials and featuring my signature moulded leather pendants. 

Determined to challenge the perception of preciousness and having belief in my creations Reign symbolises all that is possible when chance and ambition come together".
